Reynir Karlsson

Reynir graduated with a degree in law from the University of Iceland in 1982. He qualified as District Court Attorney in 1985 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Iceland in 1995. Since 1983 Reynir has practiced law as a senior partner and provided legal services to individuals, corporates and institutions.

Reynir has significant experience with all aspects of litigation, appeals and legal opinions for complex commercial transactions, representing various constituents across a number of industries.


Helga Reynisdottir

Helga was born in 1987 and is a Reykjavik University lawyer. Helga completed her upper secondary education at the Commercial College of Iceland in 2007. Helga completed her Bachelors degree at Reykjavik University School of Law in 2010 and a Masters degree in 2012. Helga was a Jasso Honors Scholar and holds an LL.M. degree in International Economic and Business Law from Kyushu University, Japan, specialicing in White Collar Corporate Crimes and International Contract Law. Helga is a District Court Attorney.

Previously Helga worked at Veita (now Momentum), a Credit Management Service, and as an associate at JP Attorneys.


Halldor Th. Thorsteinsson

Halldor is a Bifrost University Lawyer with experience in Icelandic law and EU law.

Halldor was a Monbukagakusho Scholar (Japanese Government Scholar) and holds an LL.M. degree in International Economic and Business Law from Kyushu University, Japan, and a Chinese Business Law Diploma from Shanghai University. His areas of specialties are Real Property, Venture Captial, Energy-, Environment- and Foreign Direct Investment Law.

Halldor served as Vice Chairman of Nomos, Bifrost University Law Student Association as well as being Chairman of Nomos' debating society in 2011-2012. He was an assistant lecturer at Bifrost University in 2012. While attending university in Japan, Halldor worked as a legal English teacher to Japanese judges and lawyers. Halldor is a District Court Attorney.

Previously Halldor has worked at the Ministry of industry, energy and tourism, as legal counsel at the Icelandic civil aviation administration and LOGOS legal services.
